Every provider in this category says its people are professionals. Fewer can tell you where those professionals actually sit on a Monday morning. It matters more than it sounds. The same person does different work at a kitchen table with patchy internet than in a proper office with IT support down the corridor.
Here is exactly what a premium SoTalented Satellite Office means.
What it includes
- A workspace in a premium co-working office in India, WeWork-grade: a professional building, meeting rooms, reception, cleaning and maintenance.
- Reliable connectivity, so video calls, screen shares and cloud tools work through the day.
- Infrastructure that keeps running, including power backup.
- IT support and hardware maintenance. When something breaks, it gets fixed. It is not left for your team member to sort out alone.
- Security, with security systems in the office and access set up from day one.
- The standard kit: a laptop, an office suite licence and a SoTalented email address. Your own tools stay on your accounts.
- Somewhere decent to take a break, with cafe facilities and all-day snacks.
These are not extras. They are touchpoints 19 to 24 of the 42 we run: rent and utilities, furniture and workspace setup, connectivity, hardware maintenance, security, and cleaning, maintenance and reception.
What we do not claim
We do not own the buildings. We operate inside premium co-working spaces, which is why we say “premium SoTalented Satellite Office” rather than claiming the buildings as ours. For your team member the experience is the same: a professional workspace. The ownership behind it is a lease.
Why the workspace matters
- Reliability. When the internet, power and laptop just work, the whole day goes to your work.
- Focus. Hard problems need hours without interruption. A shared flat rarely gives anyone that.
- Structure. Going to work, being around other professionals, and leaving at the end of the day supports consistency, which is what ongoing work depends on.
- Accountability. In an office, someone notices when something is wrong, and there is someone on site to fix it.
Five questions to ask any provider
- Where, exactly, will the person work, every day?
- What happens to their day when the internet or the power goes down?
- Who supplies the laptop, and who fixes it when it fails?
- Is the person dedicated to my company, or shared with other clients?
- Who is on site and accountable if something goes wrong?
The answers separate providers who run real offices from those whose people work from home under a professional-sounding name.
